Research Interests: Development of reading and writing processes with special interest in socio-cultural influences on cognitive-psychological development and agency (Dissertation): Connections between reading and writing; Integration of reading, writing, and technology in the content areas; the creation and fostering of on-line learning and teaching communities for children and educators; and the collaborative change process in schools and teacher education programs.
